If you’re involved in a group project, it’s a good idea to keep the lines of communication open and active. Sure, there’s email. And IM. And Facebook. And a bajillion other ways to keep in touch. But, what if there was a central “hub” for members of the project to post short updates to describe what they’re up to, and where group members can come to see at a glance what’s going on? There’s an app for that.
Just create a new blog site here on UCalgaryBlogs.ca and add the members of the group as Authors of that site. Select the awesome new “P2” theme, and the rest is taken care of.
If you don’t want your group’s activities leaking out to the Public Intarwebs, just set the Privacy options of the site to only allow members to see it. Easy, private realtime blogging for effective group projects.
